Hayter, mower manufacturing giant, recently announced the arrival of two brand new Harrier models.

Designed for landscape professionals, the Harrier 48 and 56 Pro are additions to the Harrier rear-roller mower line-up. Since the first Harrier professional lawn mower over a decade ago, the range is completely overhauled. Professionals will benefit from the enhanced features and benefits in the latest models.

Available now, the latest Harrier Pro mowers are robust and flexible to enable users to tackle a variety of turfs. The Harrier 48 Pro features:

  • New cast Aluminium cutter deck
  • Redesigned transmission system
  • New blade design
  • Honda GCV160 engine

The Harrier 56 Pro features the new Briggs & Stratton 850 EX I/C engine.

The new harrier-pro-lifestyle

Both machines feature the Crank-Safe Blade Brake Clutch (BBC) system, an exclusive to Hayter and an industry first. The Crank-Safe BBC system gives the operator the ease of use that comes with a BBC system. It also provides reassurance of a lifetime warranty against the engine crankshaft bending*.

The Harrier 56 Pro provides the widest rear-roller in its class. This ensures the classis British striped finish, and also reduces mowing time. Both Pro models’ rollers use steel for strength and durability and feature a two-piece rear roller design. This ensures superb manoeuvrability and no turf marking. The ribbed design provides superior traction on damp or undulating terrain.

Other notable features include Hayter’s Vari-Pitch™ technology. This is a favoured feature from the Harrier 41 series. This cutting technology automatically adjusts the cutter deck to increase air flow when set to cut longer grass. Further to this, the Easy-Wash system enables the user to clean the cutting chamber with ease after use.

“Both the Harrier® 48 and 56 Pro models are welcome additions to a range that’s been integral to the Hayter portfolio for several years. They each have a professional grade 13-60mm height of cut range and variable speed transmission systems. Both provide both productivity and reliability. In addition, these mowers come with a two-year warranty for professionals.”
